Another alternative is to use a different browser. ==Avoiding the "Mixed Content" Security Warning== The "mixed content" security warning occurs on {{qed}} pages that use the Google Maps service. To avoid these warnings on pages that use this service: # Select "Tools" in the [http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm MSIE] menu bar. # Select "Internet Options..." from the drop down menu. # Click on the "Security" tab. # Click on "Trusted sites" and then "Sites". # In the text input box labeled "Add this website to the zone:", enter the following: <nowiki>http://maps.google.com</nowiki> # Click "Add", then "Close", and then "OK". # Click on "Internet". # Click "Custom level...". # Scroll down to find the heading "Miscellaneous". # Find the sub-heading "Display Mixed Content". # Select Enable. # Click "OK", then "Yes", then "OK". ==Disabling the "Mixed Content" Security Warnings Altogether== To disable the security warnings altogether, follow these steps: # Select "Tools" in the [http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm MSIE] menu bar. # Select "Internet Options..." from the drop down menu. # Click on the "Security" tab. # Click on "Internet". # Click "Custom level...". # Scroll down to find the heading "Miscellaneous". # Find the sub-heading "Display Mixed Content". # Select Enable. # Click OK. # In response to ‘Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?’ click Yes. # Click OK to close the Internet Options box.
