Scope
A Collection is the persistent entity corresponding to a possibly time-varying aggregation of curated physical items. That is, items can be added to or removed from a Collection.
Physical items in one Collection at a particular point in time are normally not in another Collection at the same time.
During its existence, each Collection has something such as an institutional or legal charter to give it coherence.
