QED currently employs the Dublin Core Metadata Element Set, Version 1.1: Reference Description:

• Date Issued: 2004-12-20
• Identifier: http://dublincore.org/documents/2004/12/20/dces/

Resource Type

The DCMI Type Vocabulary provides a list of approved terms for the "Resource Type" element. As of September 22, 2006, the list consists of the 12 types enumerated below (Date Issued: 2006-08-28).

Accordingly, on QED, the "Resource Type" ("type") should be one of the following where possible:

• Category:Collection
• Category:Dataset
• Category:Event
• Category:Image
• Category:Interactive Resource
• Category:Moving Image
• Category:Physical Object
• Category:Service
• Category:Software
• Category:Sound
• Category:Still Image
• Category:Text
