Help:Remember my login

From QED

On the login screen, there is a check-box Remember my login on this computer.

If you check this box, then a special cookie with a hash of your password will be saved on your computer. The password itself is not stored. As long as the cookie remains valid, you can bypass the login step on subsequent visits. The cookie is removed when you logout, and expires after 30 days.

If you are concerned that someone else might be able to examine your cookies on the computer, then you should not check the box.
