This page is about the Restricted category, and the {{Restricted:Princeton}} and {{Restricted:User}} templates. These serve to restrict read-access.

One way to restrict read-access to a specific page is by placing it in Category:Restricted. This category can also be used to restrict read-access to a media description page and the underlying file, but currently the thumbnail of the image restricted in this manner will be publicly viewable. See QED:Category-Based Access Restrictions for further details.
{{Restricted:Princeton}}
The Restricted:Princeton template can be used to restrict access to a particular QED page to those who have logged in. Simply add the text {{Restricted:Princeton}} to the page, but please note that currently, although this template can be used to restrict access to a description page in the Image: namespace, it will not restrict access to the underlying media file if any. The Restricted:User template serves to restrict read-access to pages in the User: namespace. See Help:Restricted:User for further details.
