There are several ways to restrict access to files which are to be or have been uploaded to QED, but none of them has the flexibility of Princeton's WebSpace (Xythos) server, formerly known as Webshare.

A template has been created to make it easy to transclude images that have been uploaded to WebSpace. This template can also be used to simplify the creation of links to files stored on WebSpace. See Template:webspace for details and related tips.
