The markup for all the following tables is identical except for the class specification.
  • The wikitable and datatable classes can each be used without additional CSS specifications to create a standard-looking table.
    • The datatable class adds a hover effect for the row of data under the mouse, and sets padding to 4px.
  • The toccolours is a minimalist class for tables, ensuring there is a suitable border and background color; it also sets the padding to 5px and the font-size to 95%.

The order in which the classes are specified makes a difference — the most recently specified value of a style element prevails.
