World Values Survey, 2005
Summary
This graph charts world values based on two dimensions:
- secular-rational values vs traditional values
- survival values vs self-expression values.
Data for a variety of countries have been plotted on this graph, and the countries have been grouped with the following labels:
- ex-communist
- Africa
- South Asia
- Latin America
- English-speaking
- Protestant Europe
- Catholic Europe
- Confucian
The graph suggests that the values generally held in these countries can largely be predicted based on these groupings.
