Ports Table
The Ports table contains the dollar amount exported between countries for each commodity and year.
Although the WTA provides square matrices containing trade volumn data, the Ports table has a "long" format, with each record (row) representing a value of a year-commodity trade transaction between two countries. The long format allows for all the data to be in a single data table.
Zeros and Blanks
The WTA data contain zeros and blanks for many country pairs. Zeros represent reported trade values of $0. Blanks indicate that no value was reported.
