Sortable Tables
Tables whose rows can be sorted by any column can easily be created, both using wikitable syntax and HTML. For example:

Flyover Images
The <flyover> tag creates flyover images that behave like hovertext. The anchor can be text or a thumbnail. The image must have been uploaded. For example, move the mouse over the following text: Acid Rain in Europe, 1993.png
The template Template:hoverimage supports flyover images for external images. For example, if you move the mouse over the following image,

Dynamically-generated Interactive Graphs
JpGraph is a PHP library that can be used to generate a wide variety of high-quality interactive 2D graphs in PNG format with some 3D effects. An example is shown below — notice that "Activity 1" and "Activity 2", as well as the horizontal bars, are all mouse-sensitive. On QED, such graphs can be dynamically generated. See JpGraph for further details.
