- Uploading files into namespaces other than Image:
- Bulk uploading without uploading files through the GUI
Resolved
- In general, content-based access restrictions are antithetical to the performance objectives of QED because of the cacheing strategies that are used. Mechanisms for restricting access control, by contrast, can readily be defined on namespaces, on folders and by category.
- Q: What is the location of the Dublin Core Category:Service within CRM?
- A: The position of Category:Service within the CIDOC/CRM is based on the Dublin Core statement that "Examples of a Creator include a person, an organisation, or a service."
- Q: Should the IP address of anon users be shown?
- A: No.
- How can dead links to external sites be resolved?
- A: Anyone can run maintenance/linkrot.php; see QED:Admin regarding the detection of linkrot due to transclusion.
