Usage
Returns the rgb color specification for many geological periods based on the International Stratigraphic Chart, the standard used by the International Commission for Stratigraphy.
Examples
{{period color|archean}} produces rgb(226,0,122)
The template can thus be used in "style" specifications as illustrated on the Help:Timeline page and in the following table:
