Creator is one of the elements in the Dublin Core Metadata Element Set.

In QED we view Creator as a subclass of CIDOC/CRM Category:Actor.

This implies that each person or legal entity credited with creating a particular work is regarded as a separate Creator. This conforms with NC ECHO Dublin Core Implementation Guidelines.

For example, if there are twenty co-authors of a paper, we regard each as a separate Creator. On the Dublin Core template, all the creators are listed together.
