Useful Firefox/Mozilla trick/fix:

http://maps.google.com/ quit working for me for some reason, and just appeared blank in my Mozilla/Firefox web browser. Following a hint found on the internet, I was able to fix this by by going to "about:config" in the url box and changing dom.disable_image_src_set to its default value of false.
